For the Crumble:

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the sliced peaches with lemon juice, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon. Allow the mixture to sit for about 10 minutes, letting the peaches release their juices.
  3. Transfer the peach mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine rolled oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Add the cold, cubed butter to the oat mixture. Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, work the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  6. Sprinkle the crumble evenly over the peaches in the baking dish.
