- 3/4 cup buttermilk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Cut in the chilled butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese, bacon, and chives.
- Gradually add the buttermilk, stirring until the dough comes together.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and pat into a 1-inch thickness.
- Use a biscuit cutter to cut out biscuits and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
