Jalapeno Cheese Bread

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped pickled jalapenos
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Stir in cheese and jalapenos.
- In a separate bowl, mix milk, oil, and egg. Add to the flour mixture and stir until just moistened.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
