- 6–8 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of kosher salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg (optional)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, toss the peaches with lemon juice, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Let sit for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, combine flour, sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Cut in the cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Pour peach mixture into the baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle crumble topping over the peaches.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, until the topping is golden and the peach filling is bubbling.
- Let cool for 15–20 minutes before serving warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
- Make ahead by prepping filling and topping separately and storing in the fridge.
- Use canned or frozen peaches if fresh ones aren’t available — just drain thoroughly.
- Optional: add a pinch of ground ginger for extra warmth.
