Crispy baked cauliflower florets tossed in spicy buffalo sauce - a perfect vegetarian alternative to wings!
Ingredients

- 1 large head cauliflower (cut into florets)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup water (or milk)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup hot sauce (like Frank's RedHot)
- 2 tbsp melted butter (or oil)
- 1 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment
- Whisk together flour, water, garlic powder, paprika and salt to make a batter
- Toss cauliflower florets in the batter until coated
- Arrange on baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes
- Whisk together hot sauce, butter and honey
- Toss baked cauliflower in sauce mixture
- Return to oven for 5 more minutes
- Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing
Notes
- For extra crispy: broil for last 2-3 minutes
- Gluten-free option: use almond flour
- Make ahead: Bake plain florets, then sauce and reheat when ready
