Description

Crispy baked cauliflower florets tossed in spicy buffalo sauce - a perfect vegetarian alternative to wings!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large head cauliflower (cut into florets)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water (or milk)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (like Frank's RedHot)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (or oil)
  • 1 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment
  2. Whisk together flour, water, garlic powder, paprika and salt to make a batter
  3. Toss cauliflower florets in the batter until coated
  4. Arrange on baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes
  5. Whisk together hot sauce, butter and honey
  6. Toss baked cauliflower in sauce mixture
  7. Return to oven for 5 more minutes
  8. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing
